Generally a decent helmet for its price. Aesthetics and comfort are good, the chin strap design is quite good, and I didn't notice any fogging on the face shield. However, I encountered a major problem: the face shield is not fixed at all and only closes by friction. This caused the face shield to rip open when I turned my head to check the freeway blind spot. This is very annoying and requires me to immediately take my hand off the wheel to close it, which is especially bad if you're merging or changing lanes at this point. I believe this is a safety hazard, which I think should be the opposite of a helmet. In addition, this helmet is not ECE 22.06 certified. This is not surprising as the standard is new, but buyers should be aware that ECE 22.06 certified helmets must pass a wider range of tests and meet higher safety standards. However, I appreciate that the manufacturer of this helmet makes a distinction in the description to make it clear to the buyer. That probably makes it better than many helmets that are only DOT approved but preferred over ECE 22.06.
