This replacement gear fitted and worked well for several months until it failed due to slippage between the metal bushing and the plastic gear. I figured a spare gear would come in handy when the replacement wears out like the original after decades, but I'll throw out the spare and look for a more reliable replacement to replace the worst gear I've gotten. YouTube videos demonstrate this type of replacement part installation, but rebuilding a mixer takes time and effort, and using cheap, unreliable replacement hardware isn't worth it.
