Used in the 2005 Saturn ION. Fixed code P0496 (evaporator flow) after attempting to install a gas cap.

There are many tricky ways to test the performance of your old valve. On the Saturn ION, the valve is located under the hood next to the oil cap and is held in place by a single stud nut. Remove the 2 pneumatic hoses and the electrical connector and then the nut and if you can blow them out (even a little while unplugging) that's bad. I had to enlarge the front mounting hole a bit with a drill to get it. above the mounting pin. All the work took no more than 15 minutes. Many body shops charge $200 or more to replace this valve.
