I bought these to add various oils, sauces and condiments that I often use in cooking. They work almost perfectly. For anything water-based (soy sauce, vinegar, etc.), they're pretty airtight unless you're squeezing the bottles in anger. For oil based items. uh Oil tends to soak into the threads of bottle caps, causing the walls to become slippery between washes over time. Not enough to be a big problem or make me think I need another product, but it's not a perfect seal.
