Extremely weak opener

I usually avoid battery powered devices (except for the ones you plug in). However, we wanted a white wine corkscrew and this was the only one we could find that didn't have gold on it. It doesn't have a stand to store the bottle opener and foil cutter. Even with fresh batteries, the wine cork is difficult to remove. If we hadn't disposed of the packaging, it would have been returned. Not to mention that it costs twice as much as the more functional corkscrews we buy. I would avoid this product.
