Bought a few of these, after some time in daily use, at least 10,000 steps, my daily goal, they tend to die, the first thought, change the battery, no, still works the same. After owning a few this latest one failed so I took some aluminum foil and folded it to thickness then I placed it between the battery and the battery cover. I tried stretching the spring but it wasn't enough. The battery bay is too loose, as was the case with an early Apple mouse a few years ago. The manufacturer has to adapt the plastic mold from which it is made!
