Works well. Turns on the camera and charges the battery. I bought these so I could tilt the camera further down on the magnetic mount (the original sticks directly to the mount and prevents the camera from tipping down). I have a little more angles, but nothing special. The good thing is that it doesn't damage the cable with a tight fit; However, the angled head of the line still sticks out nearly as much as the straight head. Depending on whether you're just looking to prevent damage to the cable at the end or are hoping for a more angled magnetic mount, this could be a good buy. Price / quality is good! Happy with the purchase but not as expected. From the picture it looked like the head of the cable was almost flush with the camera... it wasn't.
