The difference in sound is (to me) nominal.
Good stack. Works fine, no power to DAC and amp. Suitable for a50s and d50s. Reviews say it's likely to have little effect unless you're in an ultra-high electrical noise environment. However, for that price you could get a refurbished portable DAC/amplifier! Your ears will be different.
