How I wish this saddle pad worked for my saddle! It is nice quality and I love the color. It is peaked enough for high withers. The two pockets on each side can be easily converted into one if that's what you need. However, the distance between openings for the shims is about 5 inch. That's where edges of saddle panels will land in my case. Since the pad itself is fairly thin, the saddle will press through the rolled edges of the shim pockets, and/or the top edges of the shims - and I know that my sensitive horse will not stand for that.
