Review on πŸ›΅ DID 520DZ2 Gold Motorcycle Chain Connecting Link by Jason Cavett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal budget network. Thanks DONE!

Replaced the rusty chain that was on my 2003 KDX 200 with a new DID chain. It was 520DZ2 gold. Version without O-ring. The DID is of much better quality and looks much prettier than the Chinese imitations I first tried. DID is also much thinner and lighter than Chinese chains, so it fits the chain slider very well and also gives you more power. The DID chain is at least 1.5 pounds lighter than the Niche and RK Racing chain, significantly reducing rotational inertia while delivering more power. In other words, Chinese brands weigh 50% more than this chain. This is a noticeable difference if your motor isn't that powerful. The o-ring free design also makes it ideally flexible, unlike chains with rigid o-rings. It also gives you more power. I really like the DID 520DZ chain. It also only cost $50, which is more than Chinese brands but less than half the price of a really fashionable chain from DID, Renthal or other American brands. Good glossy gold premium link finishes. Now I will definitely only buy DID chains. Great value for money and OEM installation.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Interchangeable
