My cats won't leave my armrests alone - until this product. It says not to use it on leather but my cats ripped my arm off so I stuck it on anyway. Visually, this was only an improvement, because all loose strings were now properly tamed. I thought this cat tape would be similar to what they sell at Walmart, but I was wrong at best. It's more like double-sided contact paper. Big sheets that can cover the entire area, naughty kittens love to scratch and more. They stick better than tape, so I'm wondering if the "do not use on faux leather" warning is because it's TOO sticky. Maybe the glue will ruin the couch - shrugs - mine was already ruined and that helped so I'm happy with that. I haven't even noticed my cat trying to touch the couch since I've been wearing it. I've taped it once or twice and can vouch for its stickiness.
