In the description it gives the impression that the product will prevent even someone who has never tried to cut a dog's nails from doing it incorrectly (hurting their dog), and I don't think that's true. It IS true that these clippers are easier to use because they are angled. PLEASE don't cut your dog's nails if you don't know what you're doing; you can cause them a great deal of pain if you accidentally cut through the quick of their nail. Take your dog to your groomer and have them show you how if you are unsure.I like the product. If doubt that they are as good as a professional groomer's product simply because they are made of plastic and aren't made for heavy-duty use; but for the price and normal home use, they are a good buy.
