The color does not wash off, it seems to be permanent

I got it for my daughter, she liked it very much, the material is pleasant, the color seems to be permanent, it is not faded, i've been using it for 5 months. This protects it from scratches, but I don't think it helps much if it's dropped. Decent plastic, holey iPad
