I got tired of climbing stairs to change the lightbulbs in the garage which weren't very bright to begin with. I decided to try it and I'm very happy with the result! Huge difference in the amount of light in my garage! The slats are adjustable so you can direct them where you want more or less light. I had a lighting problem in front of my garage due to a bar directly in front of the previous lights. Now I can see every corner clearly. GREAT! They can be screwed directly into an existing socket or use the spare sockets provided when replacing a fixed fixture. However, sockets are made of cheap plastic, not ceramic. For the price I didn't expect more and they work great.
