Get the equivalent of 2,000 for $30! We bought them on a whim and immediately bought 4 more, we use them for night scenes and they are fantastic for indie cinema! (Use lamp plugs or something better if you have them) We used to rent HMI lamps which take a lot of current but can run for hours on a small generator for field use. Very white/blue: light approx. 7000 color temperature

I wasn't expecting much at this price. Bought these to replace some dying fluorescent tubes in my garage. I will probably buy more durable lights, but the lamps are solidly made. I thought buying two of these wouldn't be enough, but installing just one was enough to light up the entire garage very well. I will probably replace my shop light above the workbench with one of the same construction. Very important

I really like these lights. They are well built and designed for heavy loads. BRIGHT. BRIGHT. LIGHT CONS: I had a hard time tightening the screw that turns the light up and down for me. 3 or 4 out of 8 bulbs sag over time and it hurts a bit. The supplied lamp holders are very cheap and made of plastic. I did not use them and used existing porcelain. Otherwise great light!

As is common with cheap hardware and consumer electrical products made in China, sometimes the product is great and sometimes not at all. I bought them 9 months ago and both worked perfectly. They are in my garage on the same track. one is ok Another lost a panel 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed that the second panel is missing. I think it's bad internal electrical connections. It's too late to return. Buyer Warning.

I don't know how this company (and I suspect others) manage to say that this is a 60 watt bulb. This is stated in the advertisement and is written on the device. Out of curiosity (and skepticism) I measured it with a wattmeter. The meter correctly measured the wattage of a 62 watt conventional 60 watt incandescent lamp. The thermal planet measured 190 watts!
