Review on 🦷 Colgate Total SF Advanced Whitening Toothpaste - 5 Pack, 6.4 oz by Alan Lewis

My mouth has been sore and irritated since the beginning of October. It took a while to figure out the reason. But that's exactly this toothpaste! I bought a new pack of Colgate but it looked the same as the previous pack so I thought it was ok despite the 'new' taste. didn't know the active ingredient had changed from sodium fluoride to stannous fluoride. This stannous fluoride is terrible! First my tongue and the inside of my cheeks burned. not only when cleaning, but all the time. Then my lips swelled and felt a tingling sensation. Then I got a burning rash under my tongue and on the inside of my lower lip and in part of the "mandibular vestibule" (where the lips and gums meet). Then I got dry mouth, especially in the morning after waking up. and my tongue began to swell so much that it could no longer fit between my teeth. Dry mouth and swollen tongue caused the base of my tongue to split from side to side (4-5 different cracks next to frenulum). Then I developed scaly skin on the underside of my tongue and the inside of my tongue has scaly lips and cheeks. It's terrible! All of these symptoms came and went within a few months. I can't believe this product is still being sold. Despite so many complaints!
