Review on EKG Adventure Card 🐱 Game by Exploding Kittens LLC by Joseph Scalea

I have to say this game is fun and very interesting to play. I understand why it has so many positive reviews. We love it and would give the game five stars barring two issues. First, it's just a deck of cards. Paying $20 for a deck of cards seems a bit expensive to me. However, to be honest, it wouldn't bother me that much if it weren't for the second problem. The quality of the maps is low. Most regular card games I've played have lasted longer than this one. Over the course of a few weeks we've noticed that the cards are wearing out, which takes some of the mystery out of what was in other players' hands. Now, after around 20 games, each card has some wear around the edges. I would advise game developers to invest in thicker cards with heavier wax that many other decks are made out of. If you bought the game and have a laminator, it may be a good idea to laminate it before playing so the cards will last longer. If they do, it will be worth having. This is a fun game!
