Doesn't stay screwed

The broom head doesn't stay screwed no matter how tight I turn it. It's probably because the head is so heavy, but it looks like a quality control issue. I can hardly use it because it keeps spinning inside me. The bristles are also almost too thick, but maybe that's because the head doesn't stick, so I can't use it for its intended purpose. Not worth the hassle of sending it back.
