Review on Auto Parts Prodigy 13264 AM600 13264 AM610 by Brian Evans

I recommend combining these valve covers with higher quality gaskets. My spark plug wells stopped leaking after installation, but the rocker cover gaskets themselves started leaking at the bottom edge on both sides after 1,000 miles. I have replaced the supplied seals with higher quality seals from Victor Reinz/MAHLE and the leak has not recurred. Comparing the two gaskets, it was obvious that the gasket that came with these valve covers was incapable of sealing oil. The Victor Reinz gaskets had a double face where the gasket meets the engine. The gaskets supplied with this kit are just flat where they make contact with the engine.
