A friend of mine had a pipe of these when I had a case of severely cracked lips that split in three places (oops!) and it went in one day me better . I had to apply it multiple times, but the next morning, after blowing my kiss that night, it was like I'd never had a sore spot. AMAZING endurance. Most lip balms I'm used to are so waxy they just roll off in my mouth, ugh, and I avoid them entirely for that reason. but this material really sticks and seals any cracked and inflamed lip skin. FABULOUS for sailing where you are likely to find yourself in hot sun and wind. I almost gave up the price of a stick but I tried my mate's tube and knew it was worth it. A tube (if you manage not to lose it) lasts forever.
