Now with these lights I can go for a little bike ride in the evening. It's a trailer park of sorts, with little traffic and only small streetlights, but I don't think it would be wise to ride a bike without lights. The front light fits well on the horizontal part of my steering wheel. Not finding such a horizontal bar to attach to the back, I attached it to the corner bar holding the seat. Orientation doesn't matter as the flashing red lights are visible independently. Although not advertised as a headlight, the white headlight serves in a sense in that regard. Before I had it, I rode my bike to within a foot or two of a carefree black cat sitting in the middle of the road and didn't even see her. With a white front light and more caution, I can see such dangers more clearly [and maybe even avoid the occasional skunk, since they're easygoing toward humans, too]. The light also helps me when I'm done rolling the bike to the back of the barn where there's no other light but maybe a skunk or who knows what.
