Mileage may vary. as you have seen in the countless wet shaving forums dedicated to different products. I really like the bowl and it complements my DE89L chrome razor and stand but as MANY have said it is a bit small. I can work with it (cleanly) or use it in the shower without hesitation (on the rare occasion I shave in the shower) but if you really want to whip up some serious lather. you might want to keep looking.
