Got them as a present for my mother and she loves them. She specifically wanted athletic shorts with pockets, not tight or super short. Which is hard to find these days because women's sportswear manufacturers believe that all active women between the ages of 10 and 40 want to show their full skin and look like a neon sign. Maybe they don't want to show the world what mid-thigh looks like. And maybe they don't want to be pinched to death by their gym shorts, either. They are cut loose. These are neutral colors. The length is just above the knee. And drum roll please. THEY HAVE POCKETS. *** USEFUL *** POCKETS. You can actually put keys and a cellphone inside. My mother would also like to say that they are made of thicker material and very comfortable. She loves them and I will definitely buy them as gifts in the future. She is a medium and the medium is perfect for her.
