Bulb and brand for our smart home

I think my whole house is based on TP-Link. It all started with a smart socket and two smart floodlights for lighting in my kitchen. I now have 10 smart bulbs (dimmable, non-dimmable and colored), 2 dual smart sockets, 5 single smart sockets (old and new style) and an internal webcam. I chose TP-Link because I'm familiar with the brand (use their Wi-Fi router) and because it doesn't require a hub to integrate with Alexa. Nothing. The app is great and makes the installation process reliable for all but the dumbest of idiots who shouldn't be bothering with electricity anyway. Once TP-Link has everything set up in the Kasa app, open the Alex app and start creating groups of bulbs and plugs. We set it up with multiple groups (kitchen, living room, ground floor, master bedroom, etc.). You can even set up events based on proximity using the Alexa app. When we leave, all of our lights go out as soon as Alexa detects we're a short distance from the house. Some of our smart sockets also turn off, like the one that plugs in the curling iron, in case the woman forgets to turn off the iron herself. When we get home, certain ads automatically turn on for us. I haven't had any TP-Link DOA products, and more importantly I haven't had any issues with the bulb and plugs in the past year or so. . There are also firmware updates that can be applied through the Kasa app where available. There have been very few updates which is a testament to the quality of the devices that just work and were well designed from the start.
