They work well but are useless. I've been wearing them for about a month and one of the rubber straps has snapped (on both shoes), also on one shoe the steel spiral has started to protrude somehow so that it was completely protruding from the shoe. I screwed it back on as I rode down the road in the cold because I didn't want it catching on the toe of my other boot and causing me to fall face down in the road. Really poor quality - rather spend a little more and get something durable than buy something cheap and send it to landfill so quickly.
