Review on 🐶 Purina Pro Plan Large & Giant Breed Chicken Rice Adult Dog Food (Variations in Packaging) by Monica Moore

I have only used this on my English Cream Golden as breeders swear by it and have used it on some very expensive dogs. He started eating more slowly around the age of 12 months and in the last few weeks he has started to lose weight and energy and quit the pro plan. I was about to take him to the vet when I tried giving him Nutro which I have been using for twenty years with amazing results. I place two plates side by side, one with Purina and the other with Nutro. bam! He swallowed Nutro. So I mixed 50/50, he chose Nutro and left Purina. Within TWO DAYS of switching to Nutro he was jumping off the walls like a 2 month old pup again, the energy difference was just mind blowing. In twenty years I have switched my dogs to Nutro and many friends have done the same. same. We have unmistakably noticed a noticeable difference in the health and happiness of our dogs. Also, after about two weeks you will notice a very noticeable difference in the coat: it will be softer, it will no longer have that "waxy" dog coat and the skin will be better. Nutro also makes smaller, firmer stools than Pro Plan. I don't work for Nutro and don't want to berate Purina as a lot of people swear by it and the reviews are great. In my experience of over twenty years and multiple dogs, Purina Pro Plan is nowhere near as good as Nutro and just didn't fare well with my gold.
