Saved my Tigger dry

My dog Tigger has IBD and for over 10 months I have been changing her and looking for a dry food that will suit her. I FOUND Yes, FOCUSPurina Pro Plan Dry Food for Large Breed Adult Dogs. GREAT, she eats 3 cups of Focus Dry Granules, a sweet potato and 2 chicken breasts with every meal. tummy (when she got sick) and she had diarrhea every day! With 4 adult Rottweilers I had to get something that is also inexpensive. 48 dollars. at 34lbs great after all the VET dry specialty dog food I triedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fortified with guaranteed live probiotics for digestion and immunity
Cons
  • Slightly torn

It was one of the proposed dog food brands.

This was one of the dog food brands that the vet recommended to me when I got two Standard Poodles. They had some digestive issues probably due to anxiety when I got them so they had to eat homemade rice and chicken for a while. I gradually replaced some of this dog food with rice and now they mostly eat this dog food (with a little homemade chicken or egg). The vet advised to soak the dog food before giving it to the dogs. I found they had to soften it considerably for a few hours to get itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High protein builds muscle with proper exercise
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not as good as Nutro, not even close.

I have only used this on my English Cream Golden as breeders swear by it and have used it on some very expensive dogs. He started eating more slowly around the age of 12 months and in the last few weeks he has started to lose weight and energy and quit the pro plan. I was about to take him to the vet when I tried giving him Nutro which I have been using for twenty years with amazing results. I place two plates side by side, one with Purina and the other with Nutro. bam! He swallowed Nutro. So I

Pros
  • Glucosamine and EPA, an omega-3 fatty acid, for joint health and flexibility
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Good dog food but with some problems

Good dog food - had problems with storage moths when I bought from Petsmart on 2 separate occasions 3 months apart! Priced over $60 for a 47 lb bag! The dog likes it, he is happy and healthy. The vet recommended. They use it for their personal dogs. But food moths have cost us over $500 after our human food and other pet food was contaminated with sachets we purchased from Petsmart! They're invading your home from your garage! Petsmart took the second bag and gave us a refund. They said Purinaโ€ฆ
