I love having these leaves in my aquarium for a number of reasons. 1) antifungal and antibacterial 2) adds tannins that give the water in my 20 gallon tank a slightly brackish tint. My fish are from brackish water, so it's a little more like the waters they would live in if they were in their natural habitat. I personally find that fish feel more comfortable in brackish water and behave more naturally. In addition, the leaves form a natural biofilm that shrimp and snails love. Good price and you get a lot for the money.
