Great for puppy teething!
UPDATE: 06/15/19 It still works despite throwing, hitting and pulling. Thought if it's safe for kids then it should be safe for dogs too. Today is February 14th, he's wearing a blanket and he likes the way it rustles. He mainly chews on the seams and the animal face in the middle, seeming to deliberately ignore the plastic. So far I haven't noticed any wear and tear despite the sharp puppy teeth.
