I've been using this product for a little over a month and I'm very disappointed. The only good thing is that wire.wss cameras have a longer range than most other systems. Mine is 560 feet from the base unit and has to go through a wall. As a surveillance unit while you are at home, it serves its purpose perfectly. This alerts you when something activates the motion detector. That's all I can say it's good. Even in the highest resolution you will have a hard time getting a license plate during the day, forget about it at night. My biggest downside is that it won't stay online. Sometimes I work abroad for a week and he just stops connecting. It keeps sending me motion alerts but when I try to remotely view or view the recording it says offline. I contacted support hoping that this could be fixed remotely but the only way to fix it was to turn it off and back on on the device. Big. So I get a lot of warnings for a few days but I can't view them from work and when I get home the files may be overwritten. It's hard to find a wireless system with this range and the sad thing is that this is the part that works well enough, the rest is junk. It is to be hoped that the red traffic light will at least act as a deterrent
