Before purchasing I read that there was no adapter (plug), just a cable. Therefore, I spent a lot of time searching the internet for which converter to buy. Different converters work more or less efficiently. I ended up buying an Anker 4 USB adapter with 1 Qualcomm 3.0 fast charge port (my phone) and 3 IQ ports (for VC4 and other accessories). This converter made the VC4 charger much faster than my old Nitecore Intellicharger i4 which couldn't save deep discharged batteries nor fully or quickly charge my good ones. This VC4 has already revived FOUR dead 18650 batteries that I had. That alone is more than just paying for this charger! Pros: The meter shows how many volts were in the battery and will increase as the battery charges. It is great! The counter is large and easy to see, but only shows 2 slots at a time (2 external slots by default). Press the center button to reveal 2 more battery compartments. The central display shows how many amps are being fed to the batteries. With 4 batteries it is 0.5A, with 2 batteries it is 1.0A maximum (using the separately purchased high power converter). Revitalizes 4 of my DEAD 18650 batteries. Charges MUCH faster than my old Nitecore I4 Intellicharger. I didn't time it, but it seemed to me that it was almost 1/2 times less. It could also be because my Nitecore was dying after 4 years of continuous use. Cons: No converter. This is a HUGE scam. If they don't want to give you a converter, sell it at the same time! People use converters that work inefficiently and end up rating the product negatively because it loads slower. The mAh indicator only shows what the charger has charged. To find out how many mAh your battery has, you need to fully discharge it. then fully charge. Cozy. This charger actually brings the dead to life! I think it easily deserves 5 stars, but the problem with the converter is a real one. Why not recommend one if you don't sell it or include it?
