For the price it is very well made. Gives me the ability to fit the contour of my new car's window much better than the V1 mount. I have used suction cups for many years. Heat and drought can cause them to fall off over time. I usually change them every few years. I also learned how to apply this clear silicone sealant under the suction cups and they stay on very reliably. I have used the visor mount and rearview mirror mount on other vehicles as well. They are of course much more reliable than suction cups. But their placement is limited. If you need a suction cup mount, this is a great option.
