As for the filter itself, excellent, noticed right away, good clean air, airflow was much better than the old filter. The old filter was about 8 months old, I live away from country lanes so the cabin filter needs to be changed about every 6-8 months. I usually let the air circulate inside instead of getting air from the outside (avoid sucking in more dust which clogs the filter faster) when I'm sweating, with other cheap universal air filters I could smell my feet all over the car until they cooled down were I don't have this problem, it removes odors from the air, now I spend another 5 bucks and get this filter, a really noticeable difference from the cheap ones. It was a chore to install my 2013 Ford Focus ST, not the filter's fault WHAT Ford thought, TERRIBLE Ford engineering, a job that takes < 5 minutes on ANY other car, and even other Ford models take at least 20 minutes . Since I do this myself, I understand why any store, including Valvoline oil change chains, would charge $80-$120 to replace this car's cabin air filter.
