Review on 🍡 Hario V60 Pour Over Set: Ceramic Dripper, Glass Server, Scoop & Filters - Size 02, White by Janet Baker

Great filling system! my new darling :)

In general a very good brewing system! We also have a CoffeeGator with a metal filter and a Bodum French Press. The Hario's build quality is at least as good as its competitors, and without breaking a micron, the Hario 02 decanter's glass walls feel thicker and more durable than the CoffeeGator (the Hario is also easier to clean, with a larger bore) . It can be likened to the glass jar of a Bodum French Press. Not sure why other reviewers have said the decanter is weak, it seems about as strong as single layer glass decanters can be made without making them as thick as pyrex vessels. brews quickly and provides a smoother coffee compared to systems with metal filters. Be sure to use a finer grind with this setting. My only criticism would be the plastic strap and handle on the carafe. It's sturdy but feels a little flimsy, it's not a problem to handle (anything strong enough to break the handle will break the carafe anyway), but I like to give things a deep clean and it is not easy to remove it for cleaning. However, it does not come into direct contact with the coffee and there are no deposits under the grip tape, only time will tell. We drink from standard American-style coffee mugs and get about 2 1/2 cups per carafe, which is perfect for us. This system is used exclusively by some of the best cafes in my city. Now I understand why.
