Extending the Life of the Community Desktop

Our small community had an old desktop that was slowing down, most likely due to the strict requirements of programs like Quickbooks, Excel, etc. We wanted to replace the machine, but due to budget issues shelved and decided instead to increase RAM from 4GB to 8GB. This upgrade drastically increased the speed of the old machine, and now we can use it for a few more years. The chips installed and worked flawlessly.
