If you live in Kenai you rarely need a fan but this summer it got a little hot at night in a few weeks, it needs one cheap gem. We bought one for our bedroom and put it on our bedside table. I only used water and it cooled well right in front of him, but that's about it. I put a thermometer nearby, but it didn't drop a degree. I gave it 4 stars because it's a personal conditioner, I think my husband slept better when he has a cool hand lol me, no change.
