Review on 18pcs Clear Silicone Furniture Bumpers - GINOYA Adhesive Noise Dampening Bumpers for Doors, Cabinets, and Drawers by Damon Atonyo

Adhesive not strong enough for use on a slope or high vibration

I bought and installed 4 of these bumpers on a slope (about 10 degrees) to support 20 pounds of weight. The bumpers gave way and the cargo slid off the surface. Interestingly, the bumpers adhered perfectly to the cargo; it was the glue that slid down the slope! The adhesive is TOO WEAK to withstand the slightest shear force (parallel to the surface) such as B. the force of a load sliding down a slope. Please note that this also means it will not work with a load that vibrates heavily sideways, which unfortunately includes most types of vibration. Honestly, it's made of quality rubber and looks good; I leave the rest as rubber feet for stationary charging. Again, DO NOT USE WHERE YOU EXPECT SHEARING FORCES PARALLEL TO THE ADHESIVE SURFACE, INCLUDING EXCESSIVE VIBRATIONS.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Can't remember
