Another great product from Mr. Balken. We ordered six of these battery operated LED lights to light up a work area in our kitchen. They are an excellent alternative when electric lighting is not installed. Each runs on four AA batteries. Flashlights are used several times a day, so battery life varies. When the light starts to burn and isn't that bright, it's time to take out the batteries and charge them up. Investing in a good charger and batteries will save you money in the long run. We use a Maha charger with Powerex batteries. (Note that store-bought Sunbeam batteries don't last long. If you're buying regular batteries, stick with Duracell or Energizer.) Some reviewers had lights on as they walked by. This sometimes happens, but usually after installing a new set of batteries. It's nice to go into the kitchen at night and turn on those little lightbulbs. You can use screws or tape to install them. We chose duct tape as it was easy and quick. All worked for more than a year, and only one fell. We put some more tape on our gear and everything has been fine ever since. We also have Mr. Beams around our house. Products Beams are well built and work as advertised. We are very happy with this purchase.
