Review on ๐Ÿงฆ Injinji Original Weight Toesocks Charcoal: Ultimate Comfort and Performance for Active Feet by Hector Liamsi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm glad they exist but I don't really like them

When it got cold last fall, my toes started going numb wearing five-toed vibrams. Of course I needed socks, and of course it had to be socks to work with five fingers. And I only wanted wool because of its wonderful properties. These socks were the only wool socks I could find online or in stores so I bought them. Unfortunately, they're just not very comfortable. At first, the thread appears smooth and rough. Second, the weave of the socks consists of long lines/ridges from heel to heel and due to the spacing between the weaves and the thickness of the ridges, they irritate my feet when I walk in them. It's like walking on lots of taut threads cutting into your legs. I have at least 6 other pairs of wool socks and none of them have this problem and none of them use thread that feels that harsh. Socks also balled up (small balls of thread formed) when worn the first time and afterwards. Again, I'm glad these socks exist because they were the only wool socks I could find. But the quality is not very good and the socks on the feat are not soft and not comfortable to wear. I prefer other wool socks from brands like Castelli (absolutely the best!), Damn Stiff, Wigwam, Pearl Izumi etc. If they only made wool socks I would be up for it!
