I used this sampler set for my son's dinner. After much planning, it turned out that they were not exactly what I wanted. In the picture I thought the panels were more opaque, but they are purely transparent. In other words, you can see the napkin, so it better be pretty. The plates were big enough to hold chicken parmesan. The chicken breast was large with spaghetti. Forks broke away on two. The picture shows a set table with two forks, which are only enough for one. I asked if I could just buy the forks, but that wasn't possible. Napkins are also not included. The salad plates were also the right size. Although the rose gold finish was the perfect color, it doesn't really show when the plates are clean, the light is low and the striped napkins are visible. I had to stick to the bride's color preferences, but if I knew how fun it would look I would just cut out white napkins or make them with a picture of a couple. Truly black napkins would look best. The spoons weren't really used and the knives cut the chicken perfectly because I slow cooked it for three hours. I would not recommend knives for beef or pork.
