I put this in pre workout ice tea which also has a small dose of creatine in it. It mixes easily and has no discernible taste. I was able to add about 15 minutes to my usual weightlifting session without feeling tired. Thus, better results through improved training. I don't think it's a placebo effect. I have been training for many years and am very skeptical about supplements. I drink vegan protein with a banana shake after training. That's all. Beta-alanine sometimes causes a short-term tingling sensation on the skin that goes away after a few minutes. I take slightly less than the recommended serving and find it works for me.
