Much better than regular mothballs
My friend is a rigorous user of this stuff and convinced me to give it a try. It is very effective at repelling tissue-destroying moths and its odor is not as strong as traditional mothballs. I've also found that the smell dissipates much more quickly than traditional mothballs, which sometimes require multiple washes. BF keeps one in his closet and suit closet year round and I don't notice any odor in or around his house.
