Review on Purina Veterinary Fortiflora Nutritional Supplement by Nancy Gray

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Forti Flora really helps cats!

I have a 12 year old male (neutered) tabby "Botysh" who came to us when he was 6 years old. back through our neighbor who had him from birth (they had his mother) he was born with multiple birth defects, the most serious of which was his inability to properly digest/process food. food recommended by the vet. Unfortunately, after 5 years, his problem returned. He had chronic diarrhea and could not maintain his weight, his fur became dull and fell out. The local vet wasn't sure why the dry food was no longer working. He offered to feed him various things, many of which were homemade, but after a few months the owner decided it was time to put him to sleep. I've agreed to take it and see what I can do. Someone mentioned FortiFlora to me, so I bought some and started feeding him the full pack every other day, mixed in with about 2 ounces of wet food. He found out that we fed our cats wet food at night. well, there is always high-quality dry food, but as soon as he ate wet food, he gave up everything else afterwards. Initially, canned food made things worse, but once we finally got the measurements right it started to improve a lot. After about 6-8 months it was like new and 6 years old. later he is still with us and as healthy as possible. He stays with Forti Flora but now only gets 1/4 pack of wet food a day. FortiFlora saved this cat's life!
