I had braces a few years ago and have had a permanent retainer (a small metal rod) bonded to the back of my bottom front teeth ever since. So to clean these teeth I need dental floss tips to pierce the teeth and floss through. However, they are too thick to fit between my teeth. My teeth are very stuck at this point as they are held that way on purpose. I'm not sure how they can be really useful for flossing if you don't have gaps between your teeth and also only have braces, but even you can just buy thinner floss tips which are useful and effective even if your teeth are narrow stand together.
