This camcorder arrived yesterday. As usual super fast delivery Revain. I was immediately impressed with the packaging and all the accessories that came with this camera. It really is that well packaged. But the battery connected to the AC adapter took almost 12 hours to charge and never turned off as described in the manual. Instead, I had to use a small wall charger to fully charge it. While it has Wi-Fi functionality and you can shoot from your iPhone or iPad, for some reason you can't zoom in or out on the iPad or directly on the camera when connected to Wi-Fi. The zoom in/out function freezes when connected to WiFi. Also, the included SD card cannot be imported to my iPad. Unfortunately, it's not compatible, so I can't even view footage on my iPad as I'd hoped. I have used this camera to create blogs and YouTube videos. I was hoping for a camera that I could use efficiently and transfer files quickly, but this isn't the right camera. I cook a lot indoors and outdoors and take up cooking in both modes. I noticed that the interior light of this camera is much dimmer than that of the Canon Vixia RF800. I was expecting this camera to outperform the Canon Vixia HF R800 in terms of lighting, but the Canon Vixia is much brighter indoors. Aesthetically it's a beautiful and very good camera and I really wanted this camera for that reason, but I wouldn't go any further. As photos and videos couldn't be imported onto my iPad it made sense to return it and buy a second Canon Vixia RF 800 instead. This little camera has great reviews and if you have a computer and are shooting at night it will its likely to work with you. It's just not what I need right now given the system (iPad) I use on a daily basis.
