Overall a good camera for USB 2.0 systems.

Depending on the purpose of purchase, this is either a plus or a minus. Depth of Field and Focus Point. I like the zoom function and the adjustable aperture (iris), the downside is that the focus point moves as you adjust the zoom. So when you go from 50mm to 20mm, not only does the image change, it also refocuses. So zooming in to focus and then zooming out is a futile task. But if you set up shooting with a fixed target and don't change the zoom after installation, then it doesn't matter. Picture quality is excellent, but the downside of a 2.0 connection is the bandwidth at that resolution. However, this is a lack of compatibility with older hardware. First use was to enlarge the board to check for problems on my test bench. It worked surprisingly well, a good use case for this camera. High resolution image where frame rate is not important. Out of curiosity, I connected it to an old Raspberry Pi 3.0 as a simple weather camera. This was not a good use case. Contrast washed out sky and clouds regardless of aperture setting and was generally oversaturated in the image. Incidentally, an outside temperature of 116Β° caused the internal light filter to loosen the adhesive connection and blocked the image. This is not the manufacturer's fault, but rather the use outside of the continuous operating temperatures. The device opens when removing the lens and was quickly fixed. Overall I give it a 4+ for its price and features.
