Due to limited counter space I have to 'place' my digital Easter toaster on top of my Panasonic microwave oven. If I tried to use both at the same time, the toaster timer would go haywire due to microwave interference. Even though the toaster was just plugged in, the clock on the toaster didn't work when I just used the microwave. So either plug in and use a toaster and then unplug it, or buy an analogue oven with mechanical dials. . This device means I can turn off the toaster without having to unplug it every time.
