Review on Dlyfull Universal Battery Tester: LCD Display & Digital Voltage Resistance Checker For AA AAA C D 9V 12V 18650 CR123A 2CR5 CR2032 Cells by Ryan Chaplain

As an electronic engineer I a was a little bit skeptical that this meter would read the batteries internal resistance (ESR ) and the remaining life of the battery accurately. After running some tests I am very impressed with the meters performance.Some results vs a Fluke 87V for voltage and a DE-5000 LCR meter for ESR are pretty good. I did some reading and the ESR numbers are right in line with the Data charts given by Energizer.Brand new EBL AA Battery (Voltage Read in parallel with the Fluke Meter)DIyfull Meter: Voltage = 1.60V / Capacity = 100% / ESR = .054 OhmsFluke and DE500 Meters: Voltage = 1.586V / Capacity= NA / ESR = .048 OhmsBrand new Energizer AA Battery (Voltage Read in parallel with the Fluke Meter)DIyfull Meter: Voltage = 1.58V / Capacity = 100% / ESR = .060 OhmsFluke and DE500 Meters: Voltage = 1.585V / Capacity= NA / ESR = .052 OhmsHalf Dead revain Basic Battery AA Battery (Voltage Read in parallel with the Fluke Meter)DIyfull Meter: Voltage = 1.31V / Capacity = 65% / ESR = .165 OhmsFluke and DE500 Meters: Voltage = 1.321V / Capacity= NA / ESR = .148 OhmsThese results are very impressive when compared against Lab Bench Meters.Construction of the Diyfull meter is pretty solid for a meter in the price range, I expect it will last a long time.I have been using ti for three weeks and have found no issues what so ever. If I do I will update the review.The only Negatives I found with the Meter is that the probes are permanently attached to the unit. They are fairly good probes but I would have preferred if they could be changes in case they ever get damaged. The spring tips are a nice touch. The unit does self power off after about two minutes but this is not an issue as the meter springs back to life when a battery is put onto the probes.Overall this is a good meter at a good price.
