Hardware installation problems.

None of the tools that come with these pads will fit my car's brake calipers, including the rubber boots. I had to reuse all of the original equipment that I had just removed from the car. One of the new pads had a metal mounting tab that had to be adjusted to fit. I don't know if these problems are common when replacing brake parts, but my experience has been disappointing.
