I have 2 cats and 2 toilets. I had mats for both trays. One of the cats had an accident and could not be cleaned. Decided to look for new carpets. I found a trash can. I decided to try them. I ordered 2. When I first put them on my little tri color cat would go from one to the other just by laying on them. She loved her! I love her too! You really catch the trash. I have hardwood floors. I used to feel like I was always stepping on garbage no matter how many times I swept the floor. Very little dirt ends up on the floor after switching to these mats. I was even able to skip turns for a few days. They do their job and do it well. My other cat threw up on one of them. I just washed it off with soap and water. I would definitely recommend this rug if you have trouble with litter strewn all over the place.
